Bethell on Gay Rights
Bethell’s doubt about the “gay rights agenda” is more an expression of the casual malice of those who need others to “stay in their place.”
He says: “I wonder if gays may not have been gayer when they were still in the closet.” What group of us--women, Jews, blacks, et al.--would this not apply to?
