New ‘Designing’ Woman

The cast changes introduced in this season’s opener of “Designing Women” (CBS) were a disappointment. It’s not just the absence of Suzanne (Delta Burke), though we do miss her. Her replacement is a complete negative. We did not smile once following the entrance of Julia Duffy. She is a minus on a program that has always been replete with pluses.
