IBM to Buy Stake in French Firm: International Business Machines Corp. said it would buy a minority stake in French software maker Dassault Systemes and would reorganize an existing marketing relationship with the company. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Dassault makes popular software used by engineers to design airplanes, cars and other complex products on computer screens. The software runs on IBM mainframe computers.
