Support for the Nativity

As pastor of the Lindley Avenue Baptist Church and School, I wish to acknowledge the overwhelming support we received on the Christmas nativity issue.

People from all of the United States, and as far away as Japan, support our focus on the story of Christ’s birth. This focus on the nativity is a direct consequence of the goals of our church and school.

Our aims are to provide quality, traditional education (our Iowa Test scores indicate success), a safe, structured environment (we have no gangs, drugs or crime) and education on the great, core beliefs of the Christian tradition. This includes a primary focus on the nativity story at Christmas time.

The overwhelming support we received strengthens our determination.
