True Island Fantasy
Thank you for your March 1 article on Tavarua, Fiji (“Tavarua: Surfers’ Paradise”). It is truly a fantasy come true.
After traveling the South Pacific extensively, I was afraid that a traditional non-touristed perfect island no longer existed. As our boat approached the island, I could sense this island was unique. It is a beautiful combination of pristine ocean and the Fijian spirit--so alive that when it is time to leave the island, one’s heart and spirit are both touched. For those wanting to renew their spirit, witness a real Fiji and enjoy the freshest smoked fish, this is the place.
