Los Angeles : Water Pipe Rupture Shuts Cal State L.A. Campus
A ruptured water main shut down Cal State Los Angeles on Tuesday, but the campus is expected to reopen today, officials said.
The university held graduation ceremonies Saturday and summer session classes don’t begin until next week, according to a representative for the Cal State system. But the closure affected about 500 students from the Los Angeles County High School of the Performing Arts, who were sent home. The school holds classes on the campus.
