Loan Guarantees for Israel
Bennett and Weber correctly stated that Israel has never defaulted on loans. What was not mentioned, however, is that Israel is not required to pay back any of the billions of U.S. tax dollars “borrowed” annually. All military aid money to Israel was quietly switched from loans to grants in 1985 and all economic aid money switched in 1981.
