Albert E. Osborne Jr. has joined the board of directors of Birtcher Medical Systems in Irvine. Osborne is associate professor of business economics at UCLA and is director of the Entrepreneurial Studies Center in the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management. He is also a director of the Times Mirror Co., ReadiCare Inc., Industrial Bank, United States Filter Corp. and Nordstrom Inc.
