Share

In response to the continuing spread of graffiti in the city, a program designed to involve the community in graffiti prevention will kick off with a meeting Oct. 6.

The Duarte Residents Against Graffiti Neighborhood Enhancement Teams, or DRAGNET, program will feature a volunteer citizen watch network and neighborhood work parties. It will also emphasize education and rehabilitation for offenders. Arrested juvenile vandals will be required to perform community service.

All Duarte Neighborhood Watch block captains and all concerned community members are invited to attend the 7:30 p.m. meeting in the community center at 1600 Huntington Drive.
