All those entertainers gathered together to pay tribute to Dylan, and the only significant thing to Hilburn was that no one sprang to O’Connor’s defense? He can’t be serious. Where does it say that A) O’Connor was right to tear up the Pope’s picture and B) that just because someone is in the same field as someone else, they must “defend” you?
O’Connor is a big girl and can face the repercussions of her actions by herself. Perhaps the others didn’t spring to her defense because they didn’t agree with her position.
