In the second fatal drive-by shooting to occur in Altadena in two days, a Fontana man was killed Thursday night as he stood outside a friend’s home, authorities said.

Gregory Castanedez, 23, was shot in the arm and chest by a passenger in a blue Cadillac who fired six to eight shots in the 2500 block of Lincoln Avenue, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Benita Hinojos said.

Detectives said they did not know whether Castanedez, his friend or the assailant had any gang connections.
