*OUTLOOK

Romeo believes he has the size and numbers to improve on last season’s disappointing finish. His biggest job will be convincing his players. Last season, the Sentinels were handicapped by lack of size and experience, with no player taller than 5 feet 7. This season, Romeo has four girls who are 5-9 or taller including Bennem, a 6-0 junior center. Romeo also has eight experienced players including four starters--Bonales, Geraghty, Sanchez (7.2 points per game) and Torregano (7.4). Romeo has high hopes for Torregano, who played out of position at center last season and was in double figures in rebounds in more than half her games. Isaacks, a sophomore, pulled down 19 rebounds in one of her four varsity appearances as a freshman last year. Romeo thinks she will be a force on the boards this season. With a bigger and improved front line, the Sentinels hope to better utilize the quickness of the backcourt. The Sentinels hope to contend for second place.
