Countywide : Thieves Tie Up Man and Son, Steal Car
A Bell Canyon man returning home with his son shortly after noon Tuesday was met by two armed robbers who tied them up, stole cash from their wallets and fled in the man’s car.
Richard White, 57, was returning to his home in the 100 block of North Saddlebow Road at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday with his son, Keith, when the incident occurred, said Ventura County Sheriff’s Sgt. Keith Parks.
The suspects had concealed their faces with masks. No arrests have been made.
White’s home is in a gated residential community at the eastern edge of Ventura County.
