Summer Children’s Program Offered
The Adeste program in San Fernando provides recreation for children and caters to the needs of working parents during the summer months.
The program, funded by Catholic Charities, offers low-cost activities out of Santa Rosa Community Center in San Fernando, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., July 6 to Aug. 13.
Programs are open to boys and girls 5 through 13. Activities include trips to the zoo, football, basketball, puzzles, board games and playground games. Cost is $30 per week per child, or $40 if more than one child is enrolled. Registration deadline is July 1.
Both Spanish and English are spoken. About 60 spaces are available.
