John Lusty Named President of Jadtec

* John W. Lusty has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Jadtec Computer Group in Orange. Lusty, who has been with the computer maintenance company for eight years, was most recently vice president. He succeeds John A. Dieball, who has been appointed chairman and chief executive officer. Dieball, company founder, had been president since its inception 10 years ago.

* Gene P. Burbey and John Vaswani have been appointed to head Rockwell International Corp.’s new North American Aircraft modification division, which combines all the company’s aircraft modification businesses under one organization in Anaheim. Burbey, vice president and general manager of the division, was formerly vice president of weapon systems modernization for North American Aircraft. Vaswani, executive vice president, was previously vice president-international for the former Defense Electronics organization. In addition, Thomas L. Gunckel has been appointed vice president and general manager of the new Autonetics Electronic Systems division. Gunckel, who joined Rockwell in 1961, was most recently vice president and general manager of the Autonetics Strategic Systems division. R. Ronald Duncan has been appointed executive vice president of the division. Before his appointment, Duncan was executive vice president of the Autonetics Marine and Aircraft Systems division.

* Chet Farris has been appointed marketing director and assistant division manager of Hughes Microelectronics division in Newport Beach and Torrance. Farris, who has been with Hughes since 1979, was most recently manager of the Semiconductor Products Center.
