Television: Times Mirror Co., publisher of the Los Angeles Times, has completed the sale of two of its TV stations, KTVI-TV in St. Louis and WVTM-TV in Birmingham, Ala., to Argyle Television Holding Inc. The sale of Times Mirror’s two other TV stations, KDFW-TV in Dallas and KTBC-TV in Austin, Tex., to Argyle are pending the renewal of their FCC licenses. In March, Times Mirror announced the sale of the four TV stations for $335 million, saying it wanted to “direct its resources to other business areas.”
