Winning Agencies: Several Orange County agencies were honored at the Business Communications and Marketing Assn. West Awards, a business-to-business advertising forum for the western states. Among the winners were Lawrence & Mayo in Newport Beach and Roberts, Mealer & Co. in Santa Ana, each receiving four awards; and Shafer & Shafer Advertising in Irvine and Forsythe Marcelli Johnson in Newport Beach, each winning three.

Winning single awards were Clark & Westlund Inc. in Huntington Beach, Hunter Barth Inc. in Irvine, J2 Marketing Services in Brea and Koppes Pettit Advertising.
