Glenfed to Sell Florida Branches: The parent of Glendale Federal Bank plans to sell 23 of its 60 offices in the Tampa/St. Petersburg and Orlando areas. The branches have combined deposits of $1.1 billion. Glenfed will continue operating its 37 other offices in southeast Florida. The sale is part of Glenfed’s effort to raise more cash to meet regulators’ minimum capital requirements.
