J.M. Peters Reports Loss: The Newport Beach home builder reported a loss of $2 million, or 14 cents a share, for its latest fiscal quarter. That compared to a loss of $2.3 million, or 16 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the company’s first quarter, which ended May 31, dropped to $4 million from $16.7 million.
