3 Arrested in Stabbing at Party
Ventura County sheriff’s deputies arrested two adults and a juvenile Friday on suspicion of stabbing a Thousand Oaks man after the trio allegedly crashed a house party of a rival gang by kicking in the front door.
Dennis Jackson, 19, and Jason Powers, 18, of Thousand Oaks, and an unnamed 16-year-old are accused of kicking in the front door of a house in Thousand Oaks early Wednesday morning and stabbing a party-goer in the neck, deputies said.
All three were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, conspiracy, burglary and assault with a deadly weapon, deputies said. Jackson and Powers are each being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
Deputies said they expected additional arrests in the incident.
The victim, 20-year-old Damien Domaloan of Thousand Oaks, was listed in stable condition on Friday at Los Robles Medical Center.
Deputies said four young men broke windows and entered the party with a baseball bat, crowbar and other weapons. After Domaloan was stabbed with a steak knife, several party-goers began fighting with the intruders, who then fled.
Witnesses said the attack appeared to be unprovoked. But investigators said that several of the party guests were members of a rival gang.
