LOS ALAMITOS : Hauler Will Accept Yard Waste Saturday
Briggeman Disposal will accept yard waste, such as grass clippings and tree trimmings Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m. under a new city waste program, said Assistant City Manager Gerard Goedhart.
Goedhart said residents may drop their yard waste for free at the Briggeman Disposal facility at 10608 Los Alamitos Blvd. Proof of city residency is needed, he said.
The trash hauler will also accept yard waste on Aug. 14, Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11. In addition, Briggeman Disposal will pick up bulky items twice a year at no charge, Goedhart said.
