N.J. Official Named to Private Gaming Post: Players International Inc. said that Steven P. Perskie will resign as chairman of New Jersey’s Casino Control Commission to be a vice president, general counsel and a director of the Lake Charles, La.-based company. It said Perskie will concentrate on developing new projects and fill the board vacancy left by the resignation of Stanley Fishman, brother of Players Chairman Ed Fishman and Vice President David Fishman.
