Norman Argast has been appointed senior vice president for business development at Irvine Sensors Corp., a Costa Mesa developer of computer electronics and infrared devices. He joined the company after 30 years with IBM Corp. In addition, Tony Johnson has been appointed vice president for Irvine Sensors’ computer products operation located in Williston, Vt. Johnson joined Irvine Sensors three years ago after 15 years with a number of electronic firms including Texas Instruments Inc. and McDonnell Douglas Electronics Co.
