* Kanda Ramasamy has joined Viratek Inc. in Costa Mesa as senior scientist and director of a chemistry department researching drugs that block the activity of genetic material essential to the development of viral diseases and cancer. Dr. Ramasamy joins Viratek from ISIS Pharmaceuticals, where he was a senior scientist and project leader.
