BREA : 2 Police Officers Promoted to Sergeant
Advanced Officers Bob Bugbee and Dennis Gray of the Brea Police Department were both promoted to the rank of sergeant last week by Police Chief James E. Oman.
The new sergeants will serve in the department’s uniform division under Capt. Bill Lentini.
Bugbee joined the department in 1980 and became a motorcycle officer in 1983. He was appointed to investigations in 1988 and promoted to the rank of advanced officer in 1992.
Gray has been with the department since 1977. He was assigned to investigations in 1980 and returned to the uniform division in 1982, where he was promoted to advanced officer.
