COLLEGE BASKETBALL / DAILY REPORT : MEN’S FINAL FOUR : Injured Tar Heels Expected to Play
The four North Carolina players nursing injuries are expected to play in the NCAA semifinal against Arkansas on Saturday.
Trainer Marc Davis said that point guard Jeff McInnis is the only player who did not practice Tuesday. McInnis, who suffered from a pulled groin muscle, was better Wednesday but was still sore, Davis said.
Guard Donald Williams’ sprained left ankle has improved, so has center Rasheed Wallace’s sprained left ankle, and sixth man Pearce Landry’s sprained right wrist.
