COLLEGE SIGNINGS
Lisa Pitt, a pitcher and shortstop for Kennedy High, signed a letter of intent to play softball next year at Arizona, the reigning NCAA champion.
Pitt, a Times Orange County first-team pitcher last year, is 7-4 with a 0.20 earned-run average. She has 80 strikeouts in 70 2/3 innings.
She also considered University of the Pacific, Cal State Northridge and Long Beach State. She signed Wednesday.
