Countywide : SBA Will Honor Officials, Companies

The U.S. Small Business Administration will honor representatives of four Orange County companies at a luncheon Friday at the Anaheim Pan Pacific Hotel.

Awards will go to:

* Ralph Allen, president of the architecture firm Ralph Allen & Partners in Santa Ana, as Small-Business Person of the Year.

* Susan Corrales-Diaz of Systems Integrated in Orange as National Exporter of the Year.

* Cecil Hess of MetroLaser in Irvine as National Prime Contractor of the Year.

* Daniel Francis Zettler of Zet-Tek Inc. in Anaheim as California and Regional Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

The luncheon speaker will be George Argyros, chairman of Arnell Development in Costa Mesa, who will speak on Orange County’s economic recovery and its significance for small businesses.
