UNIVERSAL CITY : 2-Car Collision Kills Hollywood Woman
A 53-year-old Hollywood woman was killed when her car swerved into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle near Universal City, police said Tuesday.
Susan Ann Kuster was driving north on Cahuenga Boulevard near Broadlawn Drive about 8 p.m. Monday when the car drifted into southbound traffic, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Fred Meck said.
Kuster’s car struck a vehicle driven by Mary Burke, 39, of Los Angeles, Meck said. Both women were taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. Kuster died soon after arriving. Burke has multiple fractures and a collapsed lung but is expected to survive, Meck said.
