LOVE AFFAIR: Fifteen years after it was released, a small but devoted group of fans still adore the film “Somewhere in Time.” About 200 people gathered Saturday in Universal City to watch and discuss their beloved flick. The movie starred Christopher Reeves as a playwright who journeys through time to find his lost love, played by actress Jane Seymour. Back in 1980, the film was a flop with the critics. . . . SHAME FAME: This is one award you don’t hang on the wall. . . . The city of Los Angeles’ Bureau of Sanitation was elected to the “Environmental Hall of Shame” Saturday by Communities United, a coalition of North Valley residents groups. Spokeswoman Mary Edwards said the bureau won “because of the broken promise to the community to close the Lopez Canyon Landfill.” The award? A sculpture of a tree stump.

BAT SNATCHERS: Holy poster pilfering! Burbank-based Warner Bros. and Gannett are using surveillance cameras and off-duty police officers to prevent the widespread theft of “Batman Returns” posters from bus shelters throughout the city. . . . More than 200 such posters advertising the upcoming film have been swiped since April 24, a Warner Bros. spokeswoman said.
