Now This Is Some Hall of Fame Praise
Forget Michael for a minute. Let’s hear it for Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, purely and simply the greatest, most valuable, most significant player in basketball history, period. Kareem went from being the most prolific player in the country in high school, to UCLA, and to the NBA without ever stopping at any level other than the top of the game. He won everywhere, and did so immediately. He accomplished more, and changed the sport more than Wilt, more than Russell, and more than Michael.
Basketball fans may have short memories, but, thankfully, Springfield doesn’t.
