HOLLYWOOD PARK : Opera Score Wins Feature by 4 1/2 Lengths
Opera Score, the 4-5 favorite, led all the way in winning Thursday’s $54,000 feature at Hollywood Park, beating Exalto by 4 1/2 lengths.
Ridden by Corey Nakatani and carrying 117 pounds, Opera Score covered 1 1/8 miles on Hollywood Park’s turf course in 1:46 3-5 and paid $3.60, $2.40 and $2.10.
The win was the fourth in 10 lifetime starts for Opera Score and was worth $29,700, raising the career earnings of the 4-year-old Kentucky-bred son of Nureyev to $156,147.
Exalto, ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye and carrying 116 pounds, crossed the finish line three lengths in front of Geenger Man and returned $3.20 and $2.10.
Geenger Man, ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye and carrying 116 pounds, was 2 1/2 lengths ahead of Fadeyev at the wire and paid $2.10 to show.
Gracious Ghost finished fifth and last in the allowance race for 4-year-olds and up. Campanology and Sismart were scratched.
Nakatani rode three winners on the day.

A field of eight headed by Denim Yenem and Made To Perfection was entered Thursday for the $100,000-added Railbird Stakes at Hollywood Park.
Denim Yenem, coming off an excellent effort in the $60,000-added Crimson Saint Stakes on May 5, will be ridden by Corey Black and was assigned 121 pounds for the 33rd running of the seven-furlong race for 3-year-old fillies.
Made To Perfection, wire-to-wire winner of the $79,000 Santa Paula Stakes at Santa Anita on April 6, will be ridden by Alex Solis and was also assigned 121 pounds.
Others entered for Saturday’s race were Predicted Glory, Fernando Valenzuela, 118; Texinadress, Kent Desormeaux, 118; Laguna Seca, Gary Stevens, 113; Irish Lit, Eddie Delahoussaye, 113; Comstock Queen, Chris McCarron, 113; and Sleep Easy, Corey Nakatani, 113.
Demin Yenem, a Kentucky-bred daughter of Ogygian, scored a six-length victory in the Crimson Saint Stakes, covering 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf in 1:01 2-5 -- two-fifths of a second off the track and world record set by Classy Women.
