LYNWOOD : Gang Member Charged With Slaying of Deputy
A capital murder charge was filed Friday against a gang member accused of gunning down a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy in Lynwood on May 12.
Freddie Fuiava, 24, faces one count of murder with special circumstance allegations that he killed a police officer and that he evaded arrest. He is being held without bail.
Fuiava is accused of killing Stephen Blair, a 31-year-old father of three and a 10-year department veteran who was assigned to an anti-gang detail.
