Nation IN BRIEF : MARYLAND : Rescued Pilot Will Extend Hospital Stay

Scott F. O’Grady, the F-16 pilot who was rescued after being shot down in Bosnia-Herzegovina, will extend his hospital stay at his doctor’s advice. O’Grady is suffering from a foot ailment caused by prolonged confinement of wet feet in boots during his six days of hiding in Bosnia. O’Grady had canceled a scheduled news conference at the Pentagon because his feet were aching so badly that he did not want to walk, officials said.
