Chris Campos of Ventura won a pair of five-lap heat races and the eight-lap feature to capture the Class C Footshift title in the fourth annual Dean Hensley Memorial Vintage Short Track Motorcycle Races before 2,260 at Ventura Raceway.
Campos started his Triumph 500 on the pole and went wire to wire in the main event, which was delayed nearly five minutes after his brother, Stod Campos of Ojai, crashed on the fifth lap.
Mickey Alzola of Newhall swept two five-lap heats and the eight-lap feature on a 1966 Triumph 650 in the Old-timers race for riders over 50 years old.
