Compiled by Jack Searles
First Interstate Bank, which this year acquired Ventura-based Bank of A. Levy, has been honored by United Way of Ventura County for making the largest corporate contribution per employee to the chapter’s 1994-95 fund-raising campaign.
Harold Lewis, Los Angeles-based First Interstate’s district manager, presented a $25,000 check to Carl Herman, chairman of the county chapter.
In return, Lewis received an award plaque from John Katch, chairman of the drive.
