PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : NFC : Eagles’ Hall Has Blood Clots in His Lungs
Philadelphia Eagle defensive tackle Rhett Hall was in fair condition Wednesday at a Philadelphia hospital after doctors discovered multiple blood clots in his lungs.
Team spokesman Ron Howard said Hall, 26, felt shortness of breath Monday afternoon and was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital after team physician John McShane determined he had a pulse rate that was twice what it should have been. No timetable was set for his return.
Hall, a reserve last season with the San Francisco 49ers, signed a three-year, $2.85-million free-agent contract in March with the Eagles. He is expected to start at right defensive tackle.

The Dallas Cowboys signed Bucky Richardson to do one thing: hit somebody.
The former Houston Oiler quarterback is expected to make a special teams impact. He’ll also back up fullback Daryl Johnston.
