EAST CHICAGO, Ind. — A tank exploded at a Phillips Pine Line Co. facility Thursday, killing one worker and injuring another, officials said. Officials said the blast ripped apart a tank on which two people were welding. A company spokeswoman said the tank was part of a waste-water system.
