ACT Networks Gets $1-Million Contract
ACT Networks Inc., a Camarillo producer of computer networking products, has received a $1-million follow-on contract from a Georgia concern, bringing the total ordered by the same customer to $3 million.
ACT is working on a voice-carrying feature for a satellite-based communication service being developed by the customer, Scientific Atlanta.
Martin Shum, ACT’s chairman and chief executive, said he hopes to deliver the voice system sometime in 1996.
