Rev. Jesse Jackson to Speak at University
The Rev. Jesse Jackson will speak at Cal State Fullerton on March 12 as a guest lecturer sponsored by the campus’ Associated Student Productions.
Jackson’s speech, titled “Reclaiming Democracy and Justice,” will be at 7 p.m. at the University Center Portola Pavilion. Ticket prices range from $3 to $6.
Jackson, president of the National Rainbow Coalition, ran unsuccessful presidential campaigns in 1984 and 1988.
Jackson served as a non-voting “shadow senator” for the District of Columbia in the U.S. Senate.
