If you’re looking to get a toe in the door of a major motion picture studio, head over to First African Methodist Episcopal Church on Saturday for its third annual job fair and marketplace expo.

Warner Bros. Studios, Walt Disney Co., MCA/Universal Studios, Paramount and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer will have representatives at the event looking for accountants, clerks, legal staff and interactive media personnel.

The job fair runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, 2270 S. Harvard Blvd. in the Mid-City area.

It is expected to draw 5,000 applicants, said organizer Ingrid Hadley.

In addition to the movie studios, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the San Diego Fire Department, the Marine Corps, Bank of America, State Farm Insurance, TicketMaster and Magic Johnson Theatres will also be looking for new employees.

At last year’s fair, more than over 300 people landed jobs.
