TAIPEI, Taiwan —
Four crew members were killed when an air force plane crashed into a forest in southern Taiwan, state-funded television reported Sunday.
The plane, identified as an S-2T “anti-submarine” aircraft with two propellers, went down near the county of Kaohsiung on Saturday, the report said.
Local newspapers said the air force was investigating the cause of the crash but that poor weather was the likely reason.
