Orange Coast College alumni David A. Grant, Leon Robinson, Mark Milroy and Mary McAleer will be inducted into the college’s Hall of Fame this fall, joining dozens of other prominent people, including actors, business leaders and politicians.

Grant, who graduated in 1958, was a member of the faculty there for 33 years, beginning as a professor of history and coach of the crew team. He worked his way up to college president, serving from 1989 until his retirement in 1995.

Robinson, a drama student who played for OCC’s basketball team, attended the school in 1979 and 1980. He moved to New York in 1980 to pursue an acting career and has recently appeared in the feature films “Cliffhanger,” “Cool Runnings” and “Above the Rim.”
