76 Products, Cardlock Form New Company

Unocal’s 76 Products Co. said Wednesday it has formed a new company with Cardlock Fuels System to build and operate unattended fueling facilities in the state for commercial fleets. The new company, 76 Cardlock Fuels, LLC, hopes to develop 20 new sites, which would feature both the 76 and Cardlock fuels logos, in the next two years.

Current commercial customers of 76 Products Company, Cardlock Fuels System and the new company would have access to the new sites, as well as the existing Unocal 76 and Cardlock Fuels locations.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

76 Products Co. is the marketing, refining, product supply and transportation unit of Unocal Corp. Cardlock Fuels System is the commercial card fueling company for Southern Counties Oil Companies.
