Dole Will Win Despite Press, Polls

Share

Make no mistake. Bob Dole is well on his way to becoming the next President of the United States. I do not believe in polls from liberal newspapers with their biased agendas. I do believe in the record number of positive phone calls we are receiving at the Republican Party of Orange County headquarters. The enthusiasm is truly overwhelming.

Our phones are ringing off the hook. We’ve had to recruit more people to help answer the phones so that we do not miss the calls of the thousands in Orange County who are clamoring to volunteer to elect Bob Dole and un-elect Bill Clinton. Bob Dole and Jack Kemp are so popular in Orange County that we can’t keep an adequate stock of bumper stickers or yard signs in our headquarters because the demand for them is so high.

I do not believe the polls from the liberal press. The press didn’t bother to cover a rally for Elizabeth Dole three months ago in Newport Beach that attracted over 450 cheering Republican women. The press didn’t bother to cover a rally with Rep. Robert K. Dornan (R-Garden Grove) and Charlton Heston in Garden Grove on Sept. 9 that drew a crowd of almost 400 enthusiastic Republicans during business hours. I don’t believe the press because they are not in touch with the people of Orange County.

I do believe in the 4,000 volunteers in Orange County signed up to help win back the White House for the American people. Even for “America’s most Republican county,” this is a record number of volunteers signed up this early in an election year.

I do not believe Clinton’s untruthful television smear ads.

I do believe in the record number of registered Republicans in Orange County. As of Sept. 3, we have 633,401 registered Republicans in Orange County. That makes 236,273 more registered Republicans than Democrats in our community.

The momentum is on our side and the liberal Democrats are running scared in Orange County. Our Republican votes offset the liberal Democrat votes in West Los Angeles and San Francisco.

I do not believe Bill Clinton or the liberal press that is trying to reelect him. I do believe Bob Dole and the committed Republican voters in Orange County who will enthusiastically elect him to the White House in November.
