Alyn Corp. Sells Shares

Alyn Corp. sold 2.75 million shares of stock at $13.50 per share Monday in the company’s initial public offering.

The size of the offering was increased from 2.4 million shares.

Alyn makes industrial products, and currently is focusing on high-end sporting goods such as bicycle frames and golf clubs, computer hard disks and shielding for nuclear reactors.

Proceeds of the offering, through underwriters led by Furman Selz, will be used to fund new production facilities, equipment tooling and management information systems.
