Snyder’s Recuperation Continues
Former Los Angeles City Councilman Arthur K. Snyder on Tuesday was continuing his recovery from quadruple bypass heart surgery at a Reno hospital.
Snyder was in satisfactory condition and had been moved from the intensive care unit, a spokesman for Washoe Medical Center said.
The former councilman underwent surgery Friday, several days after he suffered a heart attack Nov. 10 while vacationing with friends in the Sierra resort town of Mammoth Lakes.
The attorney-lobbyist and former 18-year councilman from the city’s Eastside is awaiting sentencing on money-laundering charges. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges in September, shortly before trial was to begin on felony charges.
