Regency Health to Get 21 Centers

Regency Health Services Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 21 hospitals, clinics and treatment centers from Horizon/CMS Healthcare Corp. for $36.3 million in cash and notes.

Regency Health Services, Inc., a post-acute health care provider, offers subacute care, skilled nursing and other specialized long-term care services through 109 in-patient facilities with 11,389 licensed beds in California, Ohio, West Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. Additionally, the company provides home-health services through 29 locations in two states; institutional pharmacy services for 144 in-patient facilities in four states; and contract rehabilitation services through South Coast Rehabilitation Services to 155 facilities in 14 states.
