Re the April 3 article about the Harvard Physicians’ Health Study that began in 1982: The study suggests inflammation of blood vessels is an important risk factor for coronary artery disease. The team cautioned that they have not studied women. When will researchers include women in the same studies? The No. 1 cause of death for women is still heart disease.
