Miranda Costume Contest at the Bowl
The Hollywood Bowl is holding a Carmen Miranda Costume Contest as part of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra’s “Flying Down to Rio” programs tonight and Saturday between 7 and 8 p.m. each evening.
Registration and preliminary judging will be held at the Bowl’s new Box Office Plaza. The contestants with the best costumes will be presented on the Bowl stage during intermission. Prizes include round-trip tickets on United Shuttle, Bowl boxes and CDs.
